David ChalfenEvents: Endurance – especially 3k up to Marathon Qualifications: UKA Level 3 (3k to Marathon Event Group) Venue: Finsbury Park Track, London N4 Day(s): Tuesdays Time: 7pm prompt to warm up, core session at 7.20. Warm down complete by 8.15. Group ability range: Mid-standard club runners to county/national standard athletes. Description: Nearly always a track rep session at 3k-5k pace, the speed that will be part of nearly all endurance runners’ training throughout most of the year, from 800/1500 specialists to marathoners. Nearly always 2 groups doing almost identical sessions, Group A approx 31 to 35 min 10k form; Group B approx 36 to 41 min 10k form. Volume varies in line with individual targets. Individual programmes available by agreement. DC mainly works with members of London Heathside and also coaches athletes from other clubs.
